This thesis looked into bringing an emotional approach to nutrition facts and eating habits of upcoming generations by reaching out to their homes and schools, where parents and tutors can be role models for the children. The main concept was to turn mass market packaging and nutritional data from a less factual point of view to a more interpretive and memorable one.

kids can combine fact with fiction cards to create their own memorable story on healthy eating.

The result was a lunchbox containing a notebook along with fact-fiction cards to inspire children to write their own stories. The other item is a package with real food inside that contains a sample of a healthier version of a staple packaged good found in most people’s homes. This package serves as as example for a fictional tale about nutrition.
